Blog # 9

I dont believe that this picture was racist and has been blown way out of porportion. To me this picture was clearly intended to be a joke and is how i interpretated it. Also the coulcle man does have a very strong case of not being a racsist. He was in a funk band in the sixties/Seventies and he even voulentered to help huricane katrina victims in new orelean. To called this man a racist simple over a hallowen custome is plain ridiculess. The people who are calling him a racsist are just being stuborn and wont listen to reason.

  1. I respect your point of view. Although, let me tell ya that there are people out there that may help with many things and be really nice on volunteering for others but they are not 100 percent good people. I mean he could still have something against colored people. Maybe? I mean you just can be playing jokes like this, sometimes there are certain limits that need to be marked just for security reasons... Even though Barich was in a band that was way back then you even wrote it, 60's and 70's. Well we all have a different argument but they are all valid.

  2. As I am not living here for a really long time, and also I don’t really interest in the government people, I don’t know anything about this man named Barich. Although I can’t make the decision that he is racist or not, I really don’t like something he has written on his blog. That’s only my opinion. Different people hold different point of view for the same thing, because we are looking at different sides of it.
